Text messages from Gatewell USA
Gatewell USA, a trading name of Gatewell Group LLC, sends text messages about a buyer's own request, and only to a mobile number whose owner asked for them. This page sets out what we send, the three ways consent is given, the exact words used, and how to stop.
What we send
The link to your request page, a note that your request was received, and a note that your quote has been emailed. One to three messages per request. Message and data rates may apply. We send no marketing or promotional messages.
How consent is given
On the request form. The form at gatewellusa.com/submit has an optional mobile number field and, beside it, an unchecked box that reads: "Optional. Tick this box to receive text messages from Gatewell USA about this request at the mobile number above: the link to your request page, a note that your request was received, and a note that your quote has been emailed. One to three messages per request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of any purchase." The request can be submitted without ticking the box.
On a call. When you call (213) 558-2728, the assistant offers the link and reads this before sending anything: "I can text you the link to the request page. Gatewell USA would send one message to the mobile number you give me, with the link, and the same number would get a note when your request is received and when your quote is emailed. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Would you like that, and which mobile number should I use?" The text is sent only after you say yes and give the number.
By texting us first. A text to (213) 558-2728 receives a reply to the number that wrote.
Stopping and help
Reply STOP to any message and no further messages are sent. Reply HELP to receive the company name and requests@gatewellusa.com. You can also email requests@gatewellusa.com.
Your number
We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See the privacy policy and the terms.
