Compliance
We buy from authorized US distributors, handle the US export paperwork and ship every lot with its documents.
From list to shipment
- Requirement list in. The buyer, the date and every line are logged. The request gets a reference.
- Cost-plus quote. The quote is built line by line from distributor cost, inbound freight, outbound freight, cargo insurance and any duties or fees Gatewell USA pays, plus the margin. Every list gets a quote.
- Proforma invoice. Lines are grouped by Schedule B number with the classification shown per line.
- Deposit clears, then the purchase order. The distributor order goes out once funds have cleared. A wire notice is not clearance.
- Receive and inspect. Counts taken against the packing slip and moisture barrier bags checked. Off-spec goes back to the distributor.
- Pack and document. Commercial invoice, packing list and certificates of conformance.
- Export filing and shipment. We handle the US export filing. Tracking and document copies go to the buyer the day the shipment moves.

Sourcing
Parts are sourced to order from authorized US distributors. A sourced lot is bought only after the buyer's deposit has cleared.
Compliance posture
- We handle the US export filing.
- When a line requires a US export license, we file for it and quote it subject to approval. Ask us.
NDAA-compliant sourcing
No maker on the line card, the systems page or the catalog is headquartered in or owned from the People's Republic of China, Hong Kong and Macau included, or from Russia, Iran or North Korea. The check is made on the maker's ultimate parent, not on the brand's registered address. T-Motor, Hobbywing, KST, Nexperia and Memsic are examples of makers excluded under this rule.
The country of origin of every lot is read from the distributor's record and stated on the commercial invoice. A part whose maker passes the rule is sourced from authorized US distributors like any other. The line card by subsystem and the systems page are built under this rule, and the NDAA-compliant sourcing page states it in full.
