How to buy MCUs and DSPs in small mixed lots from the United States

Send a requirement list. We source each microcontroller and DSP line to order from authorized US distributors, then consolidate the lines into one shipment and one customs entry. Gatewell USA sources and fulfills genuine electronic components from authorized US distributors, to order. On the line card this family reads: Microchip ATmega, PIC32 and dsPIC33. NXP LPC. TI MSP430 and C2000. ST STM32 across the F, G, H and L series. TI C6000 DSPs. Those are representative parts. Requirement lists are quoted line by line, whatever is on them.

Buyers are integrators, repair and overhaul shops and contract manufacturers buying mixed small lots who want many lines consolidated into one shipment and one customs entry. We serve the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and the Gulf, Türkiye, Central Asia, the Caucasus, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines and the United States.

What we source in this family and how your list is quoted

Every line in this family is sourced to order. Lead time follows the distributor's stock position and is stated on the quote.

A family name is not a classification. Package variants of one base part can carry different classifications. An STM32 in one package is a different orderable part from the same base part in another. The classification is run on the one you asked for.

The quote is cost-plus and built line by line from distributor cost, inbound freight, outbound freight, cargo insurance and any duties or fees we pay, plus the margin.

When a line requires a US export license, we file for it and quote it subject to approval. Ask us.

What you supply and what we file

Each line of your list carries four fields: MPN, quantity, target date and deliver-to address.

Wire and ACH accepted; other arrangements by written agreement.

We handle the US export filing. Tracking and documents go to you the day the shipment moves. Import formalities, duties and taxes at destination are yours. We supply the commercial invoice grouped by tariff line, the packing list, the certificates and the export filing citation.

What ships and what comes with it

Parts are received and inspected before they are packed. Date and lot codes are photographed. Labels are scanned. Moisture barrier bags are checked. Counts and weights are checked against the packing slip. Then the lot is labeled, packed and documented.

Every lot ships with a provenance pack: the distributor's packing slip and the manufacturer or distributor certificate of conformance. A distributor invoice copy with prices redacted, date code photographs and label scans are sent on request. Moisture barrier bags ship sealed as received, or resealed with fresh desiccant and a humidity indicator card inside floor life.

Lines from this family travel with the rest of your list. Memory, passives and connectors on the same requirement list go in the same shipment, under one commercial invoice grouped by tariff line.

How a request is built on the site

Build the request on the site or paste a BOM. Four fields per line, nothing else needed to start.

The requirement list is logged with a reference. A cost-plus quote comes back by email.

Accept the quote and a proforma invoice follows, grouped by tariff line. A new buyer prepays the first order in full. After the first order the deposit covers landed cost and the balance falls due on delivery confirmation. The distributor order is placed once funds have cleared.

Questions

Do you quote the base part number or the exact package variant?

We quote the orderable part number. Package variants of one base part can carry different classifications. The ordering code you send is the one we classify and quote.

A family name is not a classification. Two STM32H7 devices in different packages are two lines on the quote.

What happens if a part I need is not on your line card?

Send it anyway. The line card lists representative families and representative parts, not the limit of a requirement list.

Requirement lists are quoted line by line.

Can MCUs ship together with memory, passives and connectors in one shipment?

Yes. Mixed small lots consolidated into one shipment and one customs entry is what this service is built for.

The commercial invoice is grouped by tariff line. A list that mixes microcontrollers, SRAM and connectors still clears as one entry.

How is lead time communicated?

Lead time follows the distributor's stock position and is stated on the quote. The quote runs line by line. Each part number on your list carries its own answer.

How are moisture-sensitive devices handled?

Moisture barrier bags ship sealed as received, or resealed with fresh desiccant and a humidity indicator card inside floor life.

Bags are checked at receiving inspection, along with date and lot codes, labels, and counts and weights against the packing slip.

What is the end-user statement?

A statement naming who will use the parts. Most orders need none. When a line needs a US export license, we tell you what the application requires.

Who files the export paperwork?

We do when we ship to you. The filing citation reaches the carrier before departure. When your carrier or forwarder collects the goods in Los Angeles, it files the US export declaration. Our commercial invoice carries the export data it needs.

Import formalities, duties and taxes at destination are yours. We supply the commercial invoice grouped by tariff line, the packing list, the certificates and the filing citation.
