How to buy AD9361 and AD9364 transceivers in small quantities from the United States

Put the transceiver part numbers on a requirement list with quantities. Each line is sourced to order from authorized US distributors and shipped with the rest of your list under one customs entry. Gatewell USA sources and fulfills genuine electronic components from authorized US distributors, to order.

On the line card this family reads: Analog Devices AD936x wideband transceivers and the ADRV9361 module, for software-defined radio, test equipment and telecom development. Those are representative parts. Requirement lists are quoted line by line.

The buyers are integrators, repair and overhaul shops and contract manufacturers buying mixed small lots. We serve the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and the Gulf, Türkiye, Central Asia, the Caucasus, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines and the United States, from Los Angeles, California.

Some parts in this family are carried in a small stocked position and are marked in stock on their part pages. Everything else on the RF Transceivers list is sourced to order.

What we source in this family and how your list is quoted

Transceivers are sourced to order. Lead time follows the distributor's stock position and is stated on the quote.

A family name is not a classification. Package variants of one base part can carry different classifications. An AD9361 in one package and the same base device in another are two orderable parts. Each one is classified on its own.

Small quantities are quoted the same way as large ones. A short line is still a line on the quote.

The quote is cost-plus. It is built line by line from distributor cost, inbound freight, outbound freight, cargo insurance and any duties or fees we pay, plus the margin.

What you supply and what we file

Four fields per line: MPN, quantity, target date and deliver-to address.

Wire and ACH accepted; other arrangements by written agreement.

We handle the US export filing. Tracking and documents reach you the day the shipment moves. Import formalities, duties and taxes at destination are yours. We supply the commercial invoice grouped by tariff line, the packing list, the certificates and the export filing citation.

What ships and the provenance pack

Parts are received and inspected before they are packed. Date and lot codes are photographed. Labels are scanned. Moisture barrier bags are checked. Counts and weights are checked against the packing slip. Then the lot is labeled, packed and documented.

Every lot ships with a provenance pack: the distributor's packing slip and the manufacturer or distributor certificate of conformance. A distributor invoice copy with prices redacted, date code photographs and label scans are sent on request. Moisture barrier bags ship sealed as received, or resealed with fresh desiccant and a humidity indicator card inside floor life.

Transceiver lines travel with the rest of the list. RF front end parts, FPGAs and timing on the same requirement list ship in the same consignment, under one commercial invoice grouped by tariff line.

How a request is built on the site

Build the request on the site or paste a BOM. Each line carries the four fields.

The requirement list is logged with a reference. A cost-plus quote comes back by email.

Accept the quote and a proforma invoice follows, grouped by tariff line. A new buyer prepays the first order in full. After the first order the deposit covers landed cost and the balance falls due on delivery confirmation. The distributor order is placed once funds have cleared.

Questions

Do transceivers in this family need a US export license?

The answer comes from that classification, never from the family name.

When a line requires a US export license, we file for it and quote it subject to approval. Ask us.

How are moisture-sensitive transceivers packed?

Moisture barrier bags ship sealed as received, or resealed with fresh desiccant and a humidity indicator card inside floor life.

Bags are checked at receiving inspection, along with date and lot codes, labels, and counts and weights against the packing slip.

Does the package variant change anything?

It can. Package variants of one base part can carry different classifications. The ordering code you send is the one we classify and quote.

Send the orderable part number rather than the base device name.

Can a transceiver ship with the FPGA and the filters on the same list?

Yes. Many lines are consolidated into one shipment and one customs entry.

The commercial invoice is grouped by tariff line. One requirement list becomes one consignment.

What if the transceiver I need is not on your line card?

Put it on the requirement list. The line card lists representative families and representative parts.

Requirement lists are quoted line by line.

How is lead time communicated?

Lead time follows the distributor's stock position and is stated on the quote. The quote runs line by line. Each part number on your list carries its own answer.

What is the end-user statement?

A statement naming who will use the parts. Most orders need none. When a line needs a US export license, we tell you what the application requires.
