Buying datacenter GPUs for the UAE and the Gulf
Companies in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain order from this section at the published prices, through the same online checkout as a buyer in the United States. All six countries need a US export license for the accelerators, systems and racks. In the UAE, government agencies and the entities the US government has approved need none.
Which items need a US export license
The accelerator modules, the HGX and DGX systems, the Supermicro RTX PRO 6000 system and the GB200 and GB300 NVL72 racks are advanced computing items under US export rules. Each of them needs a US export license for delivery to the six Gulf states. The modules are NVIDIA H100, H200, B200, B300 and RTX PRO 6000 Server Edition, AMD Instinct MI300X, MI325X and MI355X, and Intel Gaudi 3.
Every order carries at least one accelerator, system or rack. Nothing on an order to these destinations ships before the license issues, including the interconnect, cooling and power parts on the same order.
The UAE
UAE Government agencies and the approved entities in Supplement No. 8 to Part 740 need no license; every other UAE buyer checks out under the license notice. For every delivery to the UAE, the checkout shows the license notice together with this rule.
How the checkout handles the license
Choose Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain or the UAE as the ship-to country and the checkout shows the license notice before you submit. The order then proceeds as any other order does. The invoice for the priced items arrives by email, payment is in full, and we prepare the license application after payment. Nothing ships before the license issues. If the license is denied, your payment is refunded in full.
Elsewhere in the Middle East
Yemen, Egypt and Jordan check out under the same license notice. Israel needs no license for these items. Iraq, Iran, Lebanon and Syria get no cart. For those four the checkout shows a contact notice in place of the order form. Orders for them are handled by our export desk by contact.
Headquarters and ownership
The checkout asks for the country where your company is headquartered and the country where its ultimate parent is headquartered. When either one is a destination with no cart, such as China, Macau, Hong Kong or Iran, the checkout shows the contact notice instead of taking the order. The delivery address does not change that. A changed answer on headquarters or ownership after the order holds the order until it is resolved.
What you supply at order
- Your company's legal name, website, contact name, email and phone
- The consignee, meaning the site or company the units are delivered to, with its full address
- The country where your company is headquartered, and the name and headquarters country of its ultimate parent
- A PO number, if you want one printed on the invoice
Where the order does not make the end use evident, we ask what the items are for. For the license, we tell you what the application requires.
Delivery
Orders ship DAP (Delivered At Place) to the address provided, or FCA Los Angeles to your own carrier. Under FCA Los Angeles your forwarder takes the goods in Los Angeles and carries them on from there. Prices exclude import duties, VAT, and taxes at destination. For international deliveries, these are collected by the carrier (e.g., FedEx or UPS) upon delivery. Gatewell handles all US export compliance. Buyers are responsible for meeting import requirements and obtaining any needed authorizations at destination.
Payment
Secure payment by bank transfer (wire or ACH). Payment details arrive with your invoice. Payment is in full at order on every priced item, on one invoice issued at checkout and due five business days from issue. Include the invoice number in your wire reference or ACH memo.
Accelerator modules are sold from 20 units per order. Systems and racks are confirmed to configuration and invoiced after the check, at the posted range. Online checkout starts at a cart total of $1,000,000; smaller quantities are quoted by email or through the request page. Every published price is on the price page.
Questions
Can a company in Saudi Arabia or the UAE buy NVIDIA B200 or B300 GPUs from the US?
Yes. Orders to both check out under the license notice. We prepare the US export license application after payment, nothing ships before the license issues, and a denied license means a full refund.
Our company is a UAE Government agency or an approved entity. Do we need a license?
No. UAE Government agencies and the approved entities in Supplement No. 8 to Part 740 need no license. Every other UAE buyer checks out under the license notice.
Do I pay before the license is granted?
Yes. Payment is in full at order on every priced item, and we prepare the application after payment. If the license is denied, your payment is refunded in full.
Can my forwarder collect the order in Los Angeles?
Yes. Orders ship FCA Los Angeles to your own carrier, or DAP to the address provided. Under either term, nothing ships before the license issues.
Our parent company is headquartered outside the Gulf. Does that matter?
It can. If your company or its ultimate parent is headquartered in China, Macau, Hong Kong or another destination with no cart, the checkout shows the contact notice wherever the units are delivered. Write to requests@gatewellusa.com or call +1 (213) 558-2728.
